Today is the day!

As a part of the waitlist, you now have early access to register for the 2025 Patagonia Gravel X Mechanic Camp.

Spots are limited and general admission opens tomorrow at 9 AM PST, so take advantage of your early offer to snag your spot.

We have two camp sessions for 2025:

Session One: October 30-November 3

Session Two: November 5-9

There is no difference in content or activities between the two camps (although we may throw in a little Halloween celebration at camp 1 - costumes welcome - πŸ‘»)

Each camp includes 3.5 days of instruction, riding, and connecting with rad women.

Sessions are led by Casey Wytaske. Casey is a bike mechanic at major events like UNBOUND, Roam Fest, and our own Girls Gone Gravel Festivals. She also taught bike mechanics at the United Bicycle Institute. Her passion is teaching women and you’ll feel like the smart, capable women that you are during her sessions!

Here’s what you’ll learn:

🚲 How to service your tubeless tires or set your bike up for tubeless tires, including completely removing the tire, cleaning out the sealant, retaping rims, and basic tubeless maintenance and emergency repair

🚲 Chain maintenance, replacement and repair

🚲 Cable adjustment

🚲 Derailleur parts, adjustment and replacement

🚲 Bar tape replacement

🚲 Brakes - replacement, bleeding, and adjustment

🚲 Plus a pre-camp how to pack your bike session, bike building supervision onsite, a bike cleaning tutorial and bike packing supervision onsite.

The rides

Hands on time working on your bike is the main focus of the camp, but we’ll have daily time for rides. There are spectacular routes from your hotel and you can choose your ride distance and time. Typically we divide into pace groups and go out together, but some folks may choose to get in more miles by leaving earlier. Every ride has a climb on it, so no matter where you go, you’ll get in a great workout!

The community

A big part of this camp is connecting with other amazing women who love bikes. All of our meals will be family style and we’ll head down to the Patagonia Lumber Company for some beverages and maybe even live music. If you need some alone time, it’s easy to go out on an additional ride, do some birdwatching on one of the amazing trails nearby or just escape to your room for some downtime.

What’s included:

πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ 3.5 days of camp instruction + a virtual how to pack your bike session

πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ Pre-camp support

πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ All meals during camp with accommodation for food allergies

πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ Emergency support on rides (aka, we can come get you if things go wrong)

πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ Fabulous swag

This camp sold out very quickly last year so reserve your spot now. We have a 30-day refund policy and a no cost transfer!
