"I'm on vacation now!"

- Caitlin Clark after the WNBA All-Star game, which drew a record-breaking 16,000-person crowd and was full of excitement (and some chaos). Team WNBA All-Stars ultimately beat out Team USA ahead of the Games. (Nothing like trying to prove you should have been picked for the Olympic team!) The WNBA also signed a new $2.2 billion 11-year TV deal.




Your Feisty guide to Olympics


With the Opening Ceremony just days away, it's time to start planning your Olympics viewing, plotting out your 'sorry I was late to work' excuses, and honing up on all the gymnastics rules. The full schedule can be overwhelming 😮, so we've pulled out some key dates you'll want to be sure to catch.


REMINDER: Paris, France is six hours ahead of the Eastern Time Zone in N. America. Most primetime events are scheduled for late in the evening in France (so early afternoon in New York). 


Must-watch events to put on your calendar

  • Opening Ceremony: FRIDAY, July 26 @ 7:30 p.m. in Paris/1:30 p.m. ET in the U.S.

    • Will be a first-of-its-kinds ceremony with boats floating down the Seine — with massive security!

  • 🚴‍♀️ Cycling: Women's TT on SATURDAY, July 27 @ 2:30 p.m. in Paris/8:30 a.m. ET  & the road race on SUNDAY, Aug. 4 @ 2 p.m. in Paris/8 a.m. ET

    • Triathlete Taylor Knibb surprised everyone with her national's TT win & world champ Chloe Dygert will be doubling up in the road events & the track. In the road race, all eyes are on Lotte Kopecky & Demi Vollering.

  • 🏊‍♀️ Swimming: The big events include the 400m freestyle* showdown to get us started on SATURDAY, July 27, 100m fly on SUNDAY, July 28, 100m freestyle and 1,500m* on WEDNESDAY, July 31, 200m backstroke* on FRIDAY, Aug. 2, and Katie Ledecky in the 800m on SATURDAY, Aug. 3

    • * means world record alert! 

  • 🤸‍♀️ Gymnastics: Women's team final on TUESDAY, July 30  @ 6:15 p.m. in Paris/12:15 p.m. ET & women's individual all-around on THURSDAY, Aug. 1 @ 6:15 p.m. in Paris/12:15 p.m. ET

    • Qualifying rounds start on SUNDAY, July 28 — with Simone Biles & Team USA going up in the second group

  • Triathlon: Women's race on WEDNESDAY, July 31 @ 8 a.m. in Paris/2 a.m. ET & mixed team relay on MONDAY, Aug. 5 @ 8 a.m./2 a.m. ET

    • With a French favorite, Cassandre Beaugrand, in front of French crowds, racing down the Champs-Élysées, this is going to be a marquee Paris event

  • 🏃‍♀️ Track & Field: Some key events include the 100m final on SATURDAY, Aug. 3, 200m final* on TUESDAY, Aug. 6, 400m hurdles* on THURSDAY, Aug. 8, women's 4x100m relay on FRIDAY, Aug. 9, 1500m final* on SATURDAY,  Aug. 10, and the marathon on the last morning, SUNDAY, Aug. 11 

  • Breaking (ie. Break Dancing): Making its debut with the medal battles on FRIDAY, Aug. 9 @ 9:15 p.m. in Paris/3:15 p.m. ET

  • Soccer: Gold medal game on SATURDAY, Aug. 10 @ 5 p.m. in Paris/11 a.m. ET

    • Group play starts this Thursday before the Opening Ceremonies even begin!

  • 🏀 Basketball: Gold medal game on SUNDAY, Aug. 11 @ 3:30 p.m. in Paris/9:30 a.m. ET
