Hi Strong Alumni,

We’re excited to give you exclusive early access to our very first Feisty Women’s Strength Retreat. This retreat will be held in Terrebone, OR (near Bend) from June 19-21 and is all about Olympic Lifting!

If you aren’t familiar with Olympic Lifting, it focuses on the snatch and the clean and jerk. It is the type of lifting we see in the Olympics (hence the name). You’ll also find this style of lifting in CrossFit gyms.

Why Olympic Lifting?

Well, it’s kind of badass πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ but beyond that, it does a lot for your body and mind. Olympic lifting:

πŸ’ͺ Gives you full body strength gains by incorporating pushing, pulling, squatting and jumping into each movement

πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ Helps you develop your fast twitch muscles and power output, which often support your other athletic endeavors.

πŸ‘Ÿ Improves mobility and overall coordination.

🧠 Improves mental focus and clarity.

Did we mention it’s pretty badass? 😜

But what does Feisty know about Olympic Lifting? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

That’s a fair question, outside of a few of our team members being mediocre Olympic lifters, we don’t know a lot, but we do know one of the best coaches in the world and she has a passion for helping women of all levels learn the Olympic Lifts

We’ve partnered with Aimee Anaya Everrett to bring you this retreat. She was the first American female coach to coach at the Olympics (‼️) and has coached every level from world champion to the person who has never touched a barbell.

Our team member, Kathryn Taylor, had the chance to attend one of her women’s lifting retreats in September and this is what she had to say

I showed up to the retreat with very minimal skills in the snatch and clean and jerk and the entire weekend was one of the most empowering active experiences I’ve had in a long time. I not only got incredible coaching cues, I moved more weight than I ever imagined I could and I felt so strong in my own body. Lifting in a room full of women who were cheering each other on was exactly what I needed when the world around me felt so busy and out of control.

As an alumni of the strong course, we’re giving you special early access before we open the retreat to everyone tomorrow at noon PST. If you’re ready to join Feisty Team members Sara Gross, Kathryn Taylor and Carrie Barrett alongside our strength coach Aimee in Oregon this June, click this link to sign up.

The retreat includes 5 small group coached sessions, community times to connect and learn over dinner and lunches, a fantastic feisty swag bag, and an optional meet up to hike/trail run at Smith Rock, one of Oregon’s most popular landmarks.

Have a question? Just hit reply and we’ll get back to you!

Hope to see you there!

Team Feisty
